Arizona Chickens

If I strap the sleeping bag to the outside, I could probably use this pack for 3-4 day trips in cold weather.
I prefer cold weather camping.

Once upon a time I had friends that did extreme camping, I call it extreme. Their cold weather tent had 15' escape tunnel tubs, and could with stand being covered with snow several feet deep. They also had equipment to sleep hanging off a cliff or shear wall. I do not know if they ever used it. I question the safety of that old stuff... (New then, old tech to day). I hope not that cold?

I don't wait for my husband. If I did that I wouldn't have my chickens. I just moved fencing to create a much bigger run for the ducks and chickens. We have material to build the kids an new shelter to accommodate a lot more chickie chicks. I can't help myself, I'm obsessed. I keep telling the kids and grand kids that it is all for them but who the hell am I kidding. I'VE GONE MAD, MAD I TELL YA!!! I can't wait to go pick out some more with my grand children. They are their chickens you know. LMAO, The parents buy them and I take care of them. Works for me.

I never do anything without asking the bf first. If i HAVE to expand the run I'd probably have to make it on the other side of the coop with a second door going out to it instead of extending the run we have out into the grass further. My bf wants to make a horseshoe court in our yard so I'm not allowed to take up more space since I've already put in raised garden beds, a chicken run and the chicken playground. I was just hoping having 10 chickens in a 8x8 run would be ok since they primarily free range and are only in it a couple hours at a time.

I haven't had a chance to get out there yet. I want to get some Orpingtons too. Check this kid out. He has some nice Orpingtons.  http://www.padillas-peeps.com/theorpingtons.htm It might be a good place to get eggs to hatch. I think that is what I am going to do with a few of them. I can't wait to go see what they have.

For some reason this did not open will you repost?
If this is the kid that I had heard about a year ago, yes he does have
fabulous chickens..

My wife is having second thoughts about giving up our Buttercups. So, in exchange for her indecisiveness, I'm hoping to procure a chicken who lays large eggs. Preferably already laying or just about to lay. No babies.

If anyone has a lady they can't keep, don't want or is just for sale. Let me know! I'd rather not go commercial as I'm sure we have some fellow AZ Chickeners here who I can win-win with. :) PM me.
