Arizona Chickens

Holy Cheezits! Eleanor made it on the front page of the site! YAY Big Mama! https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/eleanors-story-living-with-a-pendulous-crop
That happened to me once. At first, I thought someone stole my picture then it all clicked.

Congrats!

This is important and this info ought to be mentioned on this thread every day until the final vote. Even if you have legal chickens now, you never know if your circumstances might change and you have to move to a place that doesn't allow them. I would also want my daughter to be able to raise chickens where ever she moves as she goes out on her own. I emailed all the reps but I still want to make the calls today.

Thank you for the support Gallo! If anyone can make it on Tuesday they having the committee meeting and vote on 3/18 at 2PM.

OOPS gallo, a comma is needed between BLUEBERRY and ELDERBERRY. Two bushes each of two different berries which are both blue. Well elderberries are more like a violet than blue. I wonder if you can grow APPLES in your area since I believe that they need a colder weather. How about peaches ? Does anyone have peaches growing in the valley area ? I know that you can grow apricots there but peaches, YUMM

Twinklin I enjoyed your little piece on Eleanor, illustrated well plus a vid. WoW

I want new chicks but I have over 20 hens and one rooster now and I live in town. Nobody cares around here but the feed bills are too high. What will I do OH What will I do ??

Everyone's posts about new chicks is making me wish I had a bigger coop, but then I think of all the feed cost and I'm just fine the way I've got it. :)

Thank you so much for posting... :weee

3new peeps, 2 more to come, one still just peeping, 1 1/3 out but can't full free. If still not out of shekel and alive to arrow I will help to free it. Maybe not ready to come all the way out. The other chick sounds weak. I fear. For him/her, but to help now may not be good. I filled down some of the shell, I hope enough to make it easyer. Humidity seems low 45%, I hope it is enough. I know to high is bad as well as to low.

The roaster is Angle, my avatar, all three come out of blue eggs, I think Flower said they were the Legbars. The two dark brown eggs I think are eather or blue or gray Morans or/and Welsummer. What do you think, see any of there're daddy ?
