I want to try some meat birds, 2 or 3 so I don't want to order online, anywhere I can get some cx local?

Are you looking to raise some or wanting them ready to process? I have some red broilers that I am processing the last of tomorrow if you're interested.

Hey Macboat, I am not sure where you are located, but I picked up a handful last year at Pratt's in Glendale.  I think they have another location.  Also, I have been told by a feed store that if I give them a heads up far enough in advance, they will order what I want and include it in their order. Just some options to consider. 

I am in chandler try not to drive to far if only I can't find down i will try Pratts. Thanks for the info.

Just wanted to share, our black copper Marans runs off the wild birds.. It is so funny to watch.. We let flock out the last few days.. It is such a joy to watch our rooster and Moma hen along with everyone else.. I hope ya all get to enjoy how they work together..

I am not sure where you live but in Tucson someone posted about cornish x on craigslist. I am also a member of arizona livestock swap on Facebook and there was someone on their selling meat birds in the Phx area. I hope this helps.

Sorry my post was awfully vague after I saw your question and read back... I mean I want to try to raise two broilers just want to see with my own eyes how fast they grow. It amazes me that a bird can be processes at week 8....

The last E-mail from Scott Brown stated estimated pick up to be April 5 & 6. I may have accidentally erased his E-mail conferring it's arrived. Has anyone received a notice that their order is here? I do not want to drive across town and it is not there. Thanks.

My yard has so much in it. My garden makes it difficult for Arial attack. I have hawks all over, My vertical T-Frames are in the way, the bailing line adds that much more protection. My girls hange out in my beds that give the greatest protection.

I am so over whelmed by this mess. There really is so little that is being kept. It is the letting go. The boat is one of the hardest things. But storing it makes mo sense at all. I just hope I can sell it quickly.
