Arizona Chickens

We hear guinea are great at protecting.. Hope you can catch & release before they get a hold of it..

Me too.

I've heard that about guinea as well, we may look at getting some after we are in a better position to house them. I don't really know enough about them to feel comfortable owning them yet, but I would love to have some.

Thanks to @Sill for the quail eggs..
so far we have added; Palo Verde, creosote, long thorns mesquite Chilean mesquite, desert acacia wild mesquiteand a few other desert Bush varieties.

We got the dust, and about a 200 drop rain spit - not quite enough to wet the ground totally BUT after 4 months we'll take all we can get! Supposedly we will get thunderstorms all night! Morning will tell. The girls were happy with the cooler temps too!
We call it 5" rain up here in Havasu! One drop every 5 inches! That's about what we got last night. High temp today was only about 102. My girls got a reprieve.

I have a coop that needs a new home of anyone is interested. It was given to me by a friend and I'm not using it. Needs a few screws and that's about it. It's all taken apart and ready to go too.
