Ever seen "The Amazing Dobermans"? Maybe he trained the chickens too.

Thought I would put a word out about an event that's going to be part of the Tour de Coops this year.

ASU Global Sustainability Solutions Initiatives is going to be hosting a viewing of the movie "Mad City Chickens" on 9-26-14. Admission is free but there are only so many tickets. Like 125 or so I think.

We will release the list of Coops that have been selected to be on the tour as well.

26 is awesome. Where I'm moving, she has about 7 Roosters and maybe only 6 hens. Whoa. With mine that makes 22. That coop looks nice. Pics of the inside yet?

No pics of the inside yet, there's a lot of construction trash in there right now, plus tools, it's a mess. Lol!

I'll get some pictures of it as soon as we clean it up a bit.

Our other flock has 11 pullets and 1 cockerel and the girls still have some bald spots on the back of their heads and a few lost feathers on their backs! That's why we decided to get more pullets this time, we'll see what happens.

Just heard a big commotion outside and ran out to find my favorite hen had fallen into the pond.  Boy was she soaked so I took a towel and wrapped her up in it to soak up the excess water.  She softly talked to me and then closed her eyes for a while.  She's okay but it's a little cool up here today for her to run around soaked to the bone. 

Use your hair dryer and see if you can turn her into a frizzle!
