Arizona Chickens

They'll stay where the good food is. My chickens can easily hop the 6ft block wall but never have. Except the Leghorn that I scared and she jump into the neighbors yard. I'm starting to train them to come when called. They love scrambled eggs the most. Keep their bellies full and they won't leave.
Im going to feed them heavy this morning before i take a few out, im hoping the tick issue will decrease after they start free ranging, i have 5 guinea keet there 9 weeks old i think it is still to early to let them free range right now, what do ya'll think?

Eventually they'll be free ranging all the time right? Don't those fowl just fly around the neighborhood and come back at night as adults? I want some of those but need to get settled and do more research.

Not all the time just a few hours a day because we have big dogs and my brothers dumb standard poodles are untrainable so i cant keep them out free ranging all day, i wish i could though.

Getting them ready for duck soup.. NO.. jUST kidding.. We love them.. Can't wait for their delicious eggs..
Sweet! Love the kitty too. :) Are those Moringa tree branches?
Thank you.. She is our 20 year old kitty.. We love her so much.. This is a branch from our TIPU tree. . This was the first year it produced seeds.. I put a bag of them into the BYC SEED BOX.. @kpgoldstar has the seed box, she will be bringing it back next month.. You can get the box from her, or come by & we will give you some.. They grow fast, have a beautiful bark & look tropical.. Oh, plus the flock will eat the yellow flowers & leaves..We will be hosting a block party in October & hope to do another seed exchange, roasted marshmallow potluck..:weee
