If you don't find a home for the tortoise, we'll take it. As long as it's native that is. We've had a native as a resident in our yard for 11 years. He was old when we became his custodians.
It needs to happen soon though. They will be getting ready for hibernation soon. your's needs to come here in the next week or so or wait until summer.
He is definitely non native. It's a 75 lb Sulcata.
I was replying to a post. Sorry that you feel I hijacked the post. Yes, it is backyard chickens, and perhaps I need to start a site of my own for just turkeys. There are a lot of growers of both, and poultry questions in general belong in all. I also raise all natural meat and egg ducks, but no you don't have to buy them too.
