I have no details but just got a text from my wife saying 2 of our flock of 9 are foaming at the mouth. They have never shown signs of sickness. Production has been normal. They have clean water. What can it be? What should I do???
Wow....strange. The first thing I would recommend is isolating the affected birds from the other healthy ones and making sure they have a fresh supply of water. I'm trying to find any info on foaming mouths in chickens, but my initial thought would be some kind of toxin.

Did she get a photo?
I messed up again! Tried to post to this forum with pics of my new coop and run and it ended up in the wrong spot! Rats! Anyhow, here is the link: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/941497/girlchicks-new-coop-and-run
Comments and suggestions are most welcome.
