Arizona Chickens

I go meet up with [@=/u/194682/Timskins]@Timskins[/@] to pick up the Modesto feed and I've bought the chick starter from him. Let me know. As the other from the Phoenix one is just a mash that you're going to have to mix it with water. Just FYI....

......just so you know I buy both types of feed so I know the difference. And you may not like having to mix one that's powdery with water. the feed are going to go pick up today is Big Sky.

PM me if you get a chance!

Sorry I Just picked up 1 bag, blue sky mask, I did not know I have to mix with water. I will try @Timskins too, where I can get that

Big Sky is good quality feed, but usually have to mix it with water and I use a big yogurt container to do so.

..Do you know how to private message him (Timskins) or anyone else? Let me know so I can help you private message him to order when your ready.
in fact I'll send you a PM now, to show you how it works.

what you need to do is click on the person's username and a drop box will come down, then you select, send private message. So that's way you can talk to somebody when don't need to share the information on the thread.

What breed of turkey's are you putting in there?

I'm putting in my tricolored pencilled palms with my red pencilled tom. I will have two pens of pencilled palms, that breeding will produce tricolors and reds, the other pen will have pure black and white pencilled. I would like to have THREE pens of pencilled palms, but that is not going to happen! At least not this year. I have 12 hens and will decide after this year if I will keep all or thin them out. They are beautiful birds! And not widely known.

So what breeds will you have available this year?

I got two Speckled Sussex chicks today from Ace Hardware on 22nd St, courtesey of a chicken friend, Eric. My friends @AZChiknGoddess , Eric, and Lynn came over to help me move my huge craigslist coop today. I made lasagna, which made up for the soreness we'll feel later.

I also ordered some chicks from Ideal. Of course hatchery isn't ideal, but we have to start somewhere. I got bantam Wyandottes, Derbyshire Redcaps, and a few d'Uccles. 'Tis the season! I also bought a a Brinsea EcoGlow 50!

So at my husband's insistence I just ordered a massive new chicken coop/covered run for the flock that will (hopefully) be hatching very soon. I'm kind of in shock right now, but so very, very excited! I've got to be the luckiest woman around to have such a supportive husband!
