Arizona Chickens

Is this going to be a personal website for your own birds? If so, the birds pictured should be yours or at least clearly stated that they are not yours. Just my opinion. People visiting a website want and expect to see photos of that person's birds, not something gleaned from the internet.

I was doing an internet search last night for ayam cemani hatching eggs, and ran across one ad (I think it was on eBay), that described a perfect ayam cemani chicken, and they were selling the eggs for $24.99 ea, plus shipping. Then, there was another box down below that, that said eggs from chickens with those attributes were no longer available, but they had other eggs, with no description of what was being offered at all. Basically, send us a pocketful of cash, and we will send you something.

On another note, a friend of mine owns a house in Phoenix. Recently, he was working out in the yard, and a couple walked up and asked him who he was. He told them his name, and they were acting like he was a gardener or something, and he told them he owned the house. Apparently, someone was offering to rent his house on Craigslist. The ad gave the address, but said the owners were out of the country. Just send them the rent and deposit, (to a P.O. Box), and they would mail the keys. Luckily, this couple wanted to look at the house first, and hadn't sent any money. 3 other people have contacted him, and said they rented the house, and want the keys, or their money back.

I am sorry that I was taken by the cute factor which disengaged my common thought process but it happens. My Black Ameraucana took Reserve AOSB at the Pima County Fair. There were only 2 Ameraucanas shown, but lots of other birds in that class. So I'm happy

My Marans won Champion and Reserve Continental. Unfortunately, no competition. There are some really nice birds being shown.

Don't take me wrong, I wasn't suggesting you were trying to defraud anyone. I was trying to point out that I like to see what I'm paying for, not some idealized "model" chicken.
