Arizona Chickens

@DesertChic you were interested in my Ameraucana chicks. I have 6 blue and 2 black extra. They just hatched 4/27. And @FeatherPugs I only got 2 pullets from the black sexlinked cross (Ameraucana X Rhode Island Red) hatch from yesterday: one has just a few leg and foot feathers, the other has clean legs and feet. PM me if interested in any of these.

You've no idea how bad I want some of your Ameraucana chicks, but my current hatch is producing more chicks than I'd expected and I promised my hubby that I wouldn't buy any more.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Aren't bougainvillea poisonous"

Their sap is mildly poisonous. The leaves are not toxic. We have one in our chicken yard and the chickens clear off the bottom half of leaves because they're jerks, so it always looks horrible but it's super amusing to watch them jump higher and higher as they can't reach the leaves anymore. We also have giant oleanders that completely surround the chicken yard and those never cause issue either, even though the birds are under them digging for bugs all day. I have read oleanders poison doesn't effect certain birds or bugs which could be why, but not sure how true it is. It's either that or the birds just know not to eat them. I did a lot of research before getting chickens because I was really worried about the oleanders but never found anything about chickens dying or getting sick around them, just other people like me who were worried because their birds came in contact with it. Nature is amazing and has a lot more figured out than we do. :p

No these are live chicks not eggs and they have to go in an approved box

Oh, sorry, I thought you were shipping eggs. Where are you located? I just bought some chick shipping boxes and pads,
my cost is $5.50 if you want to buy one off me. Maybe someone has a used box. You might try calling some of the feed stores that get chicks in, but they usually get them in 100-chick boxes.

I am in kingman and would like to get one for them

When were the chicks hatched?
they are a few days old and I told the people who sent me the wrong eggs they would most likely not make the trip but they said send them anyway if I want my 100.00 back. I can't afford not to send them that is too much money to lose over a barnyard mix of three chicks
