Arizona Chickens

Hi everyone I have been MIA for a while they found a lump on my left breast and I have to go in 17 days and counting for a mamo and sonagram to see if I need a biopsy then set a time for the biopsy. I am plenty scared right now to say the least. For now I am still working with my chickens and just recently got some Lavender Orphingtons and cream crested Legbars from the Jill Reese line. In the bator I have Lavender Marans French variety and Icebars do to hatch this week. The Marans are next week. Then I will set some Tolbunts next week.

Sorry to hear that. Chances are it's just a benign cyst but best to get it checked out. Try not to fret too much over it right now, I know that is easy to say. I always fret over stuff.

Good news! -They have gotten better technology nowadays, so you should be in pretty good shape!!.. My mother had it and she had stage three and last Saturday was 3 years cancer free!! :D
I would personally avoid any soy products/all dairy; things that have estrogen in them because they tend to feed cancer as far as breast cancer goes, is my current understanding, in working with my mother. ( she is pretty young only in her mid sixties now.)

You will be in our continued prayers for your biopsy to be benign. Keep us posted. :hugs

Great advice you two! :thumbsup
Hugs from us, :hugs it will all work out, praying for you & your family..

Sounds like a good plan.. They are doing great.. They have been out front with the duck's.. They don't have any symptoms so we might let them in the large area with our flock.. We have a tractor they can stay in for a few day's before they can play with the big girl's.. The coloring on the one roster is definitely different.. So, of course we might try to keep him.. However our SWA has been really quiet with the no crow collar..

Okay ... I tried to figure out "SWA" ... splash wheaten ameraucana? Glad they are doing well.

My khaki campbell drake is getting aggressive towards the hens without a girl of his own ... and as much as I like ducks ... I can't take on more. Would you like him?

Mosquito fish are ment to be put into any standing water or ponds and such. They eat mosquito larvae. They won't prevent mosquitoes coming to the yard, but are a breeding control if you have mosquitoes breeding in standing water.

Do people put them in swimming pools? My dad's backyard has mosquitos, but he has not water except for the pool.

The water will attract them no matter what you do. If it is green and stagnant put them in, if not the chlorine kills the larve, but you will still have females coming to lay eggs.

I have lumpy breasts ... sorry if that's TMI. I had a really painful inflammed lump, so they sent me for a mammogram. It was a benign cyst, albeit a huge one. My mom used to work for a free-standing radiology practice. She said that the vast majority of "scares" turned out to be just that. They do sorta scare you. Hugs and fingers crossed.

I wish I could have him, but with our drake he is enough.. Plus visiting with @houdiniduck and the duck's they have, we decided to get a few more to help with our drake tearing up his girl's neck feathers. If that doesn't work we will have to find him a new home.. Or keep him pinned up for the majority of time during mating season, or crock pot.. The new little ones are still small.. I will take photos later of the cuties..

Just want to say hi, new here.
