Arizona Chickens

I see a chair, but no party favors. . Hay, congratulations from us.. let's celebrate. .
Yeah, the table and chairs are out of the pics to the left, under the shade trees. Thanks everyone for the best wishes. More pics to come as sections are completed. Negotiating some more chickens from @desertmarcy as we type, so I don't think it will ever get done. Right now, I have an overabundance of roosters, so all my hens are quietly going mad. Next major project will be separate bachelor quarters for the boys.

@cyborg
if you don't plan on keeping all of your cockerels, will come down and help you process them, then we'll do a barbecue and celebrate your vows.

Well, what I have most of right now are some show quality black copper Marans cockerels (I counted 7 this morning). They are still young and growing out. I'm not a Marans expert, but these boys look exceptional, and won't be going on any dinner table!
My last hatch produced 1 black Ameraucana cockerel, another keeper, a partridge Cochin cockerel, a barred rock cockerel, and an undisclosed number of Black Jersey Giants. These are in addition to the 8 roosters I already had. Some will have to go, but I am waiting to see who has the best traits first.

Her is one of @desertmarcy Plymouth barred rocks/ ameraucana mix.. totally spoiled. He/she???
came inside and got a photo shoot, get's treats, extra love, and a safe home

I had two that looked like that. I sold them as pullets but told the person I wasn't 100% sure so if they turned out to be cockerels, to bring them back. The color was throwing me; usually the cockerels will show the coloring on the wings like that, but pullets will have the spotted breast coloration? But I never did that cross before, so IDK. Also, I had some younger ones that had much bigger combs. Just can't say until you see or don't see those pointed saddle feathers.
