Yeah, now I need to get busy and make some more bookcases, still have about 10 milk crates full of books out in the shed. I have been watching for more of that borer damaged pine, but so far, no joy. I did get 3 bookcases and 1 set of window shutters out of the first batch of wood, have been holding off new case construction for lack of wood.@cyborg Nice bookcases! You just can't beat that gorgeous pine. I have a few boards stored in my woodshop for future projects and have a tendency to impulsively buy more whenever I see it. I think you collect books like I do. I designed and built two large bookcases out of maple a couple years back, thinking they would help me organize my ever-growing home library with room to spare for future additions. Half an hour after installing them in our office the bookcases were over-flowing with books. Oops!The photo doesn't do my project justice, but you get the idea. There's a fair amount of detail work along the bottom of the case but I didn't have enough room to stand back and get a good shot. :/
