Arizona Chickens

Those "blisters" look more like calluses to me. Maybe from sitting alot on a hard surface?

I think I know the feed store in Safford you're talking about, the one by the tattoo shop? They've got a whole new crowd of people running that place and I haven't been impressed with them. The old owners were a lot better.

Also, I know this sounds weird, but try adding a little oregano to their feed. Fresh would be good.
they were in a caged area with a wire bottom, the same as the walls of the cage, so I could see why they would be calluses... anything I can do for them?

And I have NO idea XD My best friend lives in Safford, and I was visiting for the weekend, and I had $20 on me, so I decided I would buy a chicken XD It is the "Curtis" place wit the pool.

and I'll try that!

thanks ^-^ if the oregano doesn't work, i'll switch to antibiotics in their water. ^-^

How old and what breed?

They are getting tail feathers now so 2 weeks very soon. They are supposed to be Australorps.

And they are still tiny. The barnyard large breed mixes I have are twice their size and 4 days older. I will try to get a picture so you can see the size difference.

Okay. This is a large breed chick that was born on April 16th. The black Australorp chick I got on April 25th and they were 5 days old according to the guy taking care of them. Wing & tail feathers on the young one. Older had wing, tail, top wing, and is already starting neck feathers. It's crazy the difference.
