Actually, there are two Tucson poultry shows coming up. The first one is a smaller, one day show on October 22 - a few days from now. The October show is NOT at the Fairground. The October 22 show is at Brandi Fenton Memorial Park, near River/Alvernon, in the "Hay Barn" - which is the big equestrian ramada on the east side of the park.

The big Tucson poultry show is November 19-20 at the Pima County Fairground.
THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THAT

lol I had no idea where the show was in the park.

*internet hugs*

Wow! Thank you so much for this info! I would've been completely lost.

Ok, I am about to help your "exciting" out again!

Just an update on my group 1, and group 2 hatches on my Blue Australorp chicks:

Group 1: All 4 that hatched out in that batch are active, and eating and drinking good. It was a 100% hatch rate.

Group 2: 8 out of the 9 eggs hatched out. The 9th one looked like it outgrew the egg, and suffocated inside. 7 of the 8 are now in the brooder with the 4 from group 1. The last one that hatched is still in the incubator resting and drying off.

I had a total of 12 hatchlings from both of the groups combined. They are the blues, but in various shades of blue.

That is an amazing hatch!!! How exciting!! What kind of incubator do you use?

On a bit of a.. different.. note.
I'm new here but will be hatching *hopefully* two emu if things go right in incubation. I'm in the process of purchasing, and if I wind up with a male and female, I could sell fertile eggs if anyone was interested. It takes one or two seasons before they start breeding to lay truly fertile eggs, but I just thought id let fellow Arizonians know of that future possibility!
