I walk like cement man too after a day of hard labor. That's an excellent analogy! If I had the energy and strength of a 20 year old with the brain of a 50 year old, that would be great!
HA THATS IT....LOL.. GREAT that would be the best combo of brains and brawn....lol.. we could do all we want to do , the energizer bunny wont have nothing on us HA, & i would have built 10 houses by now....lol... 
O MAN yeah, i know what you mean, i try to keep hydrated & make home made electrolytes, i think thats part of the problem since dehydration can reap havoc on your joints and so on, but if we could be that 50 / 20 combo , i would have several bright and shiny new hen houses built in a week HA ....lol..... ....lol... instead of still just planning to build more ....lol... HA...lol.. HA thanks the thumb is just a blown ligament I think, since i had one before and i can fix it with time, just have to remember not to make it worse HA

Welcome back!!dang talk about the body wont follow what the brain wants to do, i awoke the other morning and could not get out of bed , and when i finally did i felt like i was hit by a car and walked like cement man....lol.. plus i think i broke my left thumb......lol their is a big lump sticking out of the base of my thumb...lol.. and all from working to much the day before...lol... geezz give me a brake.....lol... this getting old thing , is a total giant B, if you ask me HA but geeezzzers, I would love to be able to work like i did back when i was 20

, and the good eggs that were not broken are now resting. I had ordered a dozen of those White Breese hatching eggs from @cactusrota and she did a very good job on her packing of them. Not a one of those eggs arrived broken! The 2 dozen B/B/S Rattlesnake Ridge Australorps hatching eggs from W.Va. did have 5 broken eggs in it, though. 
that's a good question, I didnt/couldn't but an external exam showed a slight protrusion from her vent

o gosh , thanks for asking and for your kind words i hope you & yours are all happy and doing well and how are all your flock doing ..??? im good, just off making lots of apple cakes for my freezer wile the fresh apples last and mailing some out to my son, hes a wounded vet and loves moms good old apple cake...lol... we are all doing great here, all my sweet happy hens just love those apple cores & skins....lol..HA you cant beat the excitement and joy of a happy hen with a favorite treat, my hens pulled out of the molt quickly, all are looking bright & shiny now & started right back laying 40 eggs a day, their joy of life is contagious, i must say my girls are always such a joy they are my chicken therapy every day ...lol.. their cute little voices chattering away, such a happy sound , i bring my phone out into their nest box area wile the girls are singing the egg song so my friends in NYC can hear them....lol.. HA 
and they love that, hearing real chickens singing ....lol.. now they all want chickens HA i told them maybe silkies would be a nice choice for them in NYC ...lol... right
