That NN girl is crazy sweet, the feathered NN is so curious she should have been called George!! I tried to get the pink to show for Pearl - but just the green showed up and you can tell Miss Gracie Lee is one beautiful blue baby!

The girls are all grown up now! I'm glad that you are enjoying them!

Question:

Once the hens have matured and started to lay, should I expect to see a reduction in the amount of feed they consume?

Because it seems like I don’t have to refill their feeders as often.

when they are growing they definitely eat alot of feed for growing and because they don't know yet what else is out there. I notice that for my hens they don't eat as much feed and scavenger more also they will eat more the day before they lay, i can always tell when most of them will lay all in the same day because they start eating more, and they don't rest as much, they walk around lookingj...

There's more bugs and such to eat right now and it's getting warmer. I definitely went thru more feed during winter.
