It's been misting/sprinkling in Dragoon for about an hour! Hopefully the rain will hit Phoenix area soon!

This is totally not chicken related, but we found out today that we are having a baby girl! Which means my husband is pretty outnumbered...haha. Maybe I can talk him into getting a rooster around here?

Congrats! If you need a roo, I have extra's that I'd let you have for free. I currently have 2 Blue Australorp boys that are about ready to start crowing and breeding. Then I also have some younger boys available too, 1 White Breese for sure, 1 light blue Breese mix boy that has a peacomb, and a 1 month old Blue boy that is 1/2 Australorp and 1/2 Crested Cream Legbar (without the crest).

Well the clouds are sure nice, @SonoranChick you're southeast of me so if it's raining where you are I'll get some soon maybe...

I took advantage of the clouds and the cooler weather and moved the 5 that I believe to be pullets out to the chick grow out pen. 2 of those 5 I do want to keep, as they are my mixes that got the crest.

@meetthebubus I'm due Nov. 5th, but if she comes early we could have a Halloween baby! I have been feeling pretty good, I did have some morning sickness in the beginning but now I just want to nap and eat everything in sight

We haven't had any more rain since the light shower this morning, but it also hasn't gotten over 87 degrees today, so the coop is happy. I think we will get some rain this evening. I'm glad we got that new roof up before the monster monsoons arrive..last summer the roof leaked over the roost.

Congrats to you. My youngest is 17 but I have grand babies to spoil now. Stay cool. I had all my babies in PA so I can’t even phantom being pregnant here over the summer.
