Arizona Chickens

@BlueBaby - this is just not right! hahahahaha
@meetthebubus - I noticed one of my BO girls had "something" dark on her legs - kinda up high so checked her out - it was scaly and scabby. Her legs scales looked like they were raised. So cleaned her all up, loosened the scabs and got them off and then used vaseline on her. It takes about 10 days of this to clear it up. A vet suggested the gasoline method so will be checking that out as I think I have one definitely and maybe two other that need the specific treatment. Day one you dip the legs in gasoline which kills the mites and begins suffocating the nits. Allow the legs to dry then rub A&D ointment on them. Day two apply only the A&D ointment and on Day 3 repeat the day one application. That completes the treatment. It does mean holding them separately but its only 3 days. Then you have to clean the coop, nests, and whatever else is out there!

I think those thing's that I gave the link to would be more for people that want to have chickens as house pets, or for those who want to claim having a chicken as an "emotional service pet"?
