I read everyday. We are getting ready for vacation next week. Chickens are doing great. I did work many hrs last week also. Thanks for missing me.

I found who I’m buying hatching eggs from. Wins lots of poultry shows so super excited. Emma is laying again so hoping she decides to go broody in August.

I hope that your vacation goes well for you. I'm glad that you found some hatching eggs that you want. If you get too many, my offer to help you to hatch some still stands!

It's RAINING, it's pouring....

And I'm not looking forward to the heat again either!! No rain here but sprinkled early early this morning. Made the ground dust lay down but not bad for the chickies! They will enjoy today if it stays this way.

Our weatherman said no rain until maybe 2:30 this afternoon. Instead it started raining before sunrise and has been drizzling nearly all morning.

Just overcast sky here right now. Ground is dry. The next door neighbors 2 little dogs were busy around the outside of the coop cleaning up the cockerels poop for me. Oh well, if they get sick from eating that stuff, then it is my neighbors fault for needing to own dog's small enough to slip through their fence. I wonder if my 3 cockerels out there will attack them dog's when Juliette (the hen) from across the street comes over?

No rain here just overcast skies.

Wash was flooded yesturday. No Rain yet today, but very over cast. We did have about 6 toads in our pool breeding
