Arizona Chickens

@BlueBaby and DesertChic that my dear friends are why you are the trusted breeders and I am the lover of the eye candy created. Balance
@BlueBaby Yum is exactly what I thought and @meetthebubus said "crickets"!
Thank goodness we had a cool day - it took forever for doctor appointments plus lab work and I had to stop at TSC plus pick up prescriptions! The girlies could fend mostly for themselves! Yard was wet like crazy except for covered areas so they were cool and clucking around looking for those crickets! Hope tomorrow is cool too - I have clean-up to do. I'm tired like crazy!

Well, I got those weeds done now that were around the coop and run, and cleaned the water pans so they can have fresh water. Boy it was dirty with that mud that was on their feet when they stand in it. Now I can relax for a few minutes before the 100#'s of feed get's here from the neighbor I've been taking care of the animals for.

Wow. Everyone has been super busy! Congrats to all the live hatches and for the cull, that is the way it goes some times. I have been using the cooler weather to get a few more trees in the ground here 7 in and 1 more to go. Really wishing the tractor had an auger. I have a couple of my EEs laying (non roo) seems to be a light tan layer and a blue olive. Still hoping to get a good blue and find the Queen Creek lady with the true blue flock for a roo.

I only have one blue egg layer hen that I would sell. She hatched in Dec. and is a Crested Cream Legbar. I also will sell my Splash Australorp hen that lays light tan eggs, and hatched in June of 2017. I also have 2 pullets that hatched on May 17th. These pullets are Australorp/CCLB mixed, and should lay mint green eggs when they start laying.
