@Suzyqschickens Great job on the eggs! We always call that an "ouch" egg! We have small, medium, large and ouch!
@meetthebubus Poor China - its hell when your hormones are all out of wack! Great baby egg from your ee.
Yes I was saying an ouch egg too!!:yesss: I too had a really small egg. Cracked that one and wasn’t much of a yolk :lau

Tonight I let China out of her pen which I do when I clean it, etc. She hadn't seen Roo her fighting buddy up close for awhile so she thought why not go have a quick fence fight?

Well she again decided to kick the fence, with sgarp chicken wire and got her spur tangled in it i had to run out and over and untangle her foot as she's laying twisted on the ground with her leg up high :he

I'm thinking she'll never get better at this rate with her foot and now twisted leg and I think she has a vent issue now... :barnie probably bc she lays in her puddle....

It sound's like China is getting to be a big problem for you.

So, the NN babies are still doing good? The 2 NN's that I have over here in the brooder are getting bigger, and have so much energy now! How in the heck did someone get a hold of your phone?
They babies are cute, really loud.... DH let them out again today, and says they are not afraid of the other babies, or older girls, that they are getting integrated pretty well. Five is pecking on the others if they get to close, but they seem to be doing well. They are sleeping in a separate area, from the bigger chicks, and hens.
My phone was in my back pocket, and a guy "bumped" into me. I didn't realize it was gone till I went to make a phone call. I've only had that new phone since mid July....

I'm glad that things are going ok for those little NN's now, and that you are enjoying them. I sold 2 of the 4 chicks that I had here already (the 2 that had the fully feathered necks). The 2 that were NN's, I kept to see how they grow out. I am thinking that the pure white one that hatched from the tan egg is a cockerel, and the white one with the black spots is a pullet that hatched from the blue egg.

I hope that you reported your phone stolen right away, so they won't be able to run up your phone bill on you!
