Well, my brooder chicks are happy now. I just gave my fuzzy 2 legged piggies a refill on the wet chick feed. They really have been going to town on it!

I had a friend of mine incubate some quail eggs for me and they all hatched yesterday, so now I have 25 little fluff popcorns... So freaking adorable right now...

Yes, those are cute too! Are the yellow ones a different breed than the striped one's are?

Fluff butts cleaned, and everyone is all tucked in for the night! I noticed they were falling asleep in our hands and realized the sun was going down! Put them back in their brooder and they went right under their warmer and were quiet. What smart little things.

My Pet Chicken. I ordered a Lavender Orpington but on hatch day they didn't have one for me, and offered to switch it for a Blue Orpington.

@Geranium I've got a "Blue" in my crew, that's the name of my Delaware! It's a good name for a chicken Glad to hear they had a good first day. I used to keep a pack of baby wipes nearby for little poop clean ups, and would dip them (the wipes, not the chicks) in warm water if I needed to work on a pasty butt.
