Arizona Chickens

So I accidentally wasn't home at sundown tonight. When I got home it wasjust after full dark. I went to check on the chickens immediately and they were all huddled together in the box. I don't know how much screaming and pacing happened before they managed to get in the box, but in the end they did it all by themselves! They'll be five weeks on Monday, and seem to be opting to use the box and not the brooder plate, so I think I'll take it out once this rain passes.

Stubborn eggers won't reside in coop a few got soaked... now in shelter the worst soaked chicken I took in to blow dry much happier have a couple more a bit too wet... with the temps now, no sun u think they can get hypothermia? It's not like monsoon where it's 100 degrees.... any experience with this?

My dingy girls have done fine. They were out in the rain we had last week pretty much all day.

My girls are just fine. It isn't cold out there and the rain isn't cold. I have some that are wet - you know wet hen wet. Since I have a few tree dwellers I know I'm always having a few wet girls. They seem just fine - even my molting ones. Don't worry. Even though I have lots of covered places but I still wish I had more.
