Arizona Chickens

I like chicken my kids are so so Hubby is like ugh. But the kids would live off of chicken nuggets, pizza, corn dogs, fish sticks if I let them:barnie

I know what you mean, my grandkids are the same way!
I like to put a bunch of boneless breasts or thighs in the pressure cooker with a chopped onion, some garlic, chiles of some sort and shred for tacos/burritos when done. You can use a beef or pork roast too, or add bbq sauce to any of them for shredded meat sandwiches. I've used frozen meatballs on low with a delay timer and some jarred sauce for meatball sandwiches.

Ribs in the pressure cooker are super easy...cut to separate, pressure cook, brush with sauce and stick under the broiler 5 mins or until sauce is sticky.

I don't do a lot in the slow cooker but these we like:

I've made this with stew meat

Skinnytaste has some fantastic recipes for the slow cooker and great ideas for quick meals you can make ahead. I like the mini quiche quite a bit, uses up eggs and you can put whatever you want in them.

Also, here's a very active thread where some folks have kids and we all talk about food. You can get some great ideas from it.

The people are crazy, but we all have fun. I hope to see you over there!

So my absolute favorite go to is chicken tacos in the crockpot! I put three chicken breast in there a jar of your favorite salsa, one packet of your favorite taco seasoning and cook on low for 6.5 hrs. I then shred it. So yummy. I added the cilantro and lime this last time. And some times I add black beans in there
