I started the lockdown today on my incubator for Thursday's hatch. Now to get the brooder ready again. I started with 12 egg's, and have 11 left. One egg was a quitter earlier on and had a blood ring in it, so I pulled that one.

Nice, Half if mine quit. I think the temperature is incorrect. When turning they don’t feel like 99.5.

I have a broody that I put 3 eggs under today. One of the Red Ranger/Dorking mixes.

The green and brown are from Precious and Hazel, right?

Precious hasn’t laid an egg in a while and yes the green is hazels.

peeps are getting in their flight and tail feathers, except the brahma, who I'm hoping is a girl. so far, 'brahm' isn't showing any Rooster behavior, such as standing more up right or being bolder. I'm just about to change the Brooder, excuse the mess, my chickens don't always live in squalor. :]

Watching my little monsters, I always thought that was the only way they'd eat it..lol. How they manage to sling it out of the feeder I don't know.
