Arizona Chickens

Good morning AZ. It's such a lovely morning! I've got my sprinkler running in the xeriscape garden and the chickens are rummaging around in the compost pile. Angus is crowing, he's gonna lose his voice if he doesn't knock it off! Found out my oldest grandson is my servant for the next three days, paid in advance by his mom. Sweet deal! I have a job interview today, it's a work at home position. I've been out of work since right before the shut down from Covid. Speaking of which, the gov seems to have grown a pair and shut down the bars and gyms, water attractions too. Those numbers are looking a bit scary! Anyway, enjoy the cooler weather, it won't be around for long!

Good morning everybody, I love how beautiful it is outside today! Unfortunately I had to call animal control because of my neighbor's barking dogs at 5:45 a.m. that they left outside for the remainder of the day. But that is done with.

In the meantime I have had cuddle times with all of the chickies and even the one silkie that I thought might be a male. I have second thoughts now as I've been sitting here cuddling with him or her and watching TV for about 45 minutes. It seems extremely comfortable and I'm looking more closely and not seeing any streamers or comb development. Age is now 9.5 weeks. Ive only logged in to check for dna results 3 times today. Yay self control! :yesss:

What do you guys think?

That sounds much better than being dumped in a freezer and thrown in the trash. I'm sorry starri :hugs
I'm sad to say, I had to take her back.. But I have to be happy in the fact that she's no longer in pain, I told the lady there that should she find herself in that position again, to call me, On a happier note? I have hatch starting, 2 days early, but on it's way none the less. :) when I put them on lock down, I lined them up so that I'd know if someone was trying to hatch, one of them has rolled to where it's almost touching the other, when I candled on lock down, I could see beaks in a couple and kicking and moving in a couple of different ones. The one who was kicking had it been a human baby, it would have seriously hurt. lol. cleaning the tote and the feeder/waterer and getting them ready for the new ones.
