I clicked on it to see what brand name it was. I was trying to see how much it cost's, but I didn't see any price on it there though. I hope that it work's good for you. Keep us updated on the hatch. I hope if some chick's hatch that they won't get that marek's too.

I sure will I think I paid $84 for it. The reviews were good but anything is better than the first one I bought. We shall see. I am hoping to build a mareks resistant bird from my survivors. Fingers crossed!

Yes, I've heard about people buying up a lot of chick's like that and not knowing what they were doing. Then later they were trying to get rid of them because they decided that chicken raising wasn't for them. Craigslist is still full of people trying to sell their chick's, but they jacked up the selling price too high for the most part.

I feel just so horrible for the animals. I've seen some of those CL pics, with the chickens in small wire bird cages or trying to pass off obvious roosters as hens or unknowns

I see the ads, I'm sorry but I'm not paying $80 for a hen. Ifeel I hadn't already ordered mine before that mess began, I could have gotten chickens left and right from people over there heads.

Yes, I seen those too, and the rooster's that are hen's for $35.00 or more that haven't layed an egg yet, but could any day now.

I thought 6 months was great!! In the parrot world, it could be years!!

I am loving these eggs though. The yolk seems creamier. Going to cook some in the morning

@igorsMistress im so sorry about your loss it seems like this year just hasn’t been easy on anyone. If it isn’t the heat, it was sickness or predators taking out chickens hopefully with the weather getting cooler soon everyone will be doing better! Have a good night everyone

Do you guys know how often silkies lay when they are new layers? I was getting them every other day, but there's one today, and i don't know if that is a daily egg from Nala (silkie) or if Bella (other silkie) is now laying... they're all quiet now when they lay, so no song to know who is doing what.
