How big do chicken eggs get? I got a huge one in a dozen from Walmart, and could hardly close the carton it was so big. No idea how it made it here intact. I decided to weigh it, and it turned out to have two yolks. The scale was zeroed before weighing the egg. I tried a second scale, and that one said 89, which was one gram more, but the egg kept rolling off and I couldn't get a picture.

The sapphire gems I had, laid a 90 gram, 82 gram and 84 gram egg on just those occasions. normally their eggs were in the 60's.

I am in need of some buff colored Naked Neck's that have the yellow leg's with a little bit of black in the tail's. Anyone here know of anyone that I can get some from? I'm basically looking for the pullet's or younger hen's for a breeding project.

Well, I am pretty sure I ended up with a Safire Gem cockerel. Not going to keep him. The person I got him from said he came from a green egg.

How old is it? It look's like it may have some CCLB mixed in with it, by the little crest that it has on the head. It also look's to have a single comb, and the boy's comb and waddles would be bigger than that I would think?
