Arizona Chickens

It’s from an actual hatchery so I would hope it isn’t but who knows

Maybe they outcrossed the one's that they had to try to improve the gene diversity. I have heard that the CCL's are pretty closely related. Keep in mind that most hatcheries just throw the breed into one big pen and don't breed for quality but rather quantity to keep up with the demand.

I'm a mutt or a Heinz57. ;)
Same here. I took the 23 and Me DNA analysis, Turns out I have a little of every nation on this GLOBE. Probably explains the different foods I like, and the different music I like as well. It is a far stretch, but I may have genes from Venus and Mars as well. :idunno :old:gig:lau That may be the 3% of unknown origins. BTW, I'm 2.6% Neanderthal... Probably reason I enjoy spelunking so mucho. :thumbsup

@BlueBaby so he is a Swedish flower roo!!! So what would he and a wellsumer make? He and a ccl make? And he and the pullet I Got from you?

I'm not sure but you can find out for yourself. Next hatch that you do, only do the egg's from those hen's and mark the egg's according to what hen that they came from. After they hatch, put color coded band's on the leg's, and then let them grow out, changing the leg band's so they don't get too tight on the chick's legs and cut off the circulation. I use one of those curved toenail clipper's when I do any banding on mine and I use the little zipties, be careful that you don't cut into the leg's though.

What about the tiny baby ouchless hair rubber bands? They wouldn't be tight but won't fall off.
