Arizona Chickens

Looks like about 2" of snow here this morning.
yes, I cancelled my trip to PV because they were expecting 4 inches. my pen is not too bad, I just had to remove some soggy spilt food and put down some dry pine pellets. looking forward to remodeling it to keep it dryer!

Yay, rain for the last 2 hours.. very light and steady.. i hope it goes through the night and morning at least. I imagine it potentially being our last rain til monsoons.
I hope we have a better monsoon season this year, than last year!

Not too bad, it is stopping and the sun is shining. Here is the view from my kitchen window.
Pretty dry in the center, damp at the front edges.

that cover looks great, not sagging under the snow at all....your chickens play the xylophone?

I had to dump a lot of water, so i think we had a slow steady rain all night in the valley.. the flowers all look happy and there are lots of varieties of finches and hummingbirds in the yard ❤ My orchid tree evidently liked the rain and bloomed overnight! I'll get a pic when things dry up a bit.
