Just spend time with them like you do. They might accidentally peck it, or put something shiny on it to get them to peck it. Each time they do peck, TREAT ASAP! Repeat. Knot's Berry Farm used to have chickens that would play Happy Birthday on the little piano in their cage when you put in a dime. They played the whole song, then the corn came out! I read where they had to change chickens about every hour, they will not perform when they are full.Oh good idea..!! Hmm.. i need to start training with treats. I avoid it w dogs, i use affection instead, but it would be great w the birds. I've been able to easily train Minnie, but i think thats just her, not necessarily chickens in general. Since they are hand raised, i can probably get them to do quite a bit (now im imaginging a parrot bicycle).
Dylan will do almost anything for KFC! Egg is next best. Scrambled egg YUM! Tuna, too.Omg KFC![]()

Ok, im going to do it. I think i have the advantage that they do seek me out and focus on me, so that gets me a few steps ahead. I believe birds in general are so much smarter than anyone realizes. This is cool!!Just spend time with them like you do. They might accidentally peck it, or put something shiny on it to get them to peck it. Each time they do peck, TREAT ASAP! Repeat. It is the crinkly bag sound. Dylan starts saying, "Want More"! when the chip bag rattles, even before she sees it or you get it open. When I was a kid it was really a farm. We went there because most of it was free then.I like the boysenberry preserves that Knott's Berry Farm has.
Yes, i remember going too.. seeing the animals. We lived in L.A., but when my uncle would drive up from San Diego, he would pick up the boysenberry syrup. When I was a kid it was really a farm. We went there because most of it was free then.
