Arizona Chickens

Well, I'm getting ready to put my egg's in the incubator. This will be my first hatch of 2021. I haven't done one since June of last year. I'm only setting 12 egg's this time, as I already have more chicken's than what I need. 😂
I think you might have a sign like this. It also applies to ducks!:lau

That is a good day! If people forget, this incubator has a count down. It stops turning 3 days before hatch day and the turner on light goes out to remind people to remove the turner.

That should be fine as long as the electricity doesn't go out. If it does, then throw a blanket or thick towel over the top to help retain any heat in it.

I have an insulated closet where Dylan the parrot has her night cage, I would move it in there on top of her night cage and put hand warmers on it, and an old quilt over it and Dylan's cage. I keep Dylan's room pretty warm, she is only a generation or 2 out of the Congo. Not freeze-hardy. I have a portable Mr. Buddy heater and propane for the long power outages. We have had a couple. One the first summer we were here was all day. It is snowing here again right now!

Is he the blonde? Yes.. but there's no one more dreamy than Davey Jones 🥰

We got lots more rain overnight, whatever seeds were waiting to sprout finally have their chance!

Btw, rose petals are ending up a favorite, even preferred over mealworms!!
he had dark hair, roy was the red/blond who drove. Johnny got bit by a rattlesnake in one episode. So true about Davy Jones!
