Arizona Chickens

I hope to get them outside this weekend. Waiting on the coop to get here.

If you have a large sized plastic dog crate that you could put them in now, that would at least keep them contained so they can't run around on your floor for now.

I just have shoes that I only wear out in the back yard and don't wear them anywhere else.
Yes, I have a pair of plastic crocks that are the chicken shoes. Then the "regular" all around Rebocks. Old pair of Rebocks for the feed store. The Newcastle thing in CA makes you think about it.

Unfortunately I don't really have anything else to put them in and would prefer not purchase something for a one time use. lol. If the little bugger should get out, we will put him right back in. lol. He is probably my favorite even though he is a bit of a jerk at times.

Sounds like a boy to me!

@Parront Are you sure you don't want some of the Dorking egg's with Louie over the girl's? There were 4 of those egg's already this morning.
Not at the moment. Ducks hatch in 2 weeks, then some time for ducks to grow up, 3 - 4 weeks. And I have some chicks due from Sandhill, you do not know when you will get them until they call, but April 6 or 20 are possibilities. June worked out well for the chicks I got last year. Not as cold at night -- they are in the shed for brooding, not a bedroom in the house.:) Dylan already has that!

My 12 set egg's that should start hatching on good Friday are still looking good. I just candled them again and marked the air cell's.
