Arizona Chickens

Too bad you can only get online, but since it's premade, that means I don't have to throw it away after 24 hours, and eliminates the special rinsing of utensils that I have with the gordon's permethrin 10.

ETA:
If this is .5%, it's 10X more powerful than what gordon's says to spray on the birds, which is 1:200 of the 10% stuff. ??

I was also attracted by it killing the ants. The ant spray we have from Costco is not working as well as it used to. Time to change. They adapt. Also might be nice to have it on hand it is supposed to be good for bed bugs. Air BnB puts us at risk for that, and I might not have time to order it when I need it!
Harris Bedbug powder is very cheap online. Also you might want to get matress covers & pillow covers that keep bedbugs from those items in BnB or even for your own bedrooms just in case. I used these things as a preventative when I was volunteering at an assisted living home weekly (before C-19) because I had 3-4 residents tell me bedbugs were going around there and the management was throwing out resident's furniture when BB found in their rooms. I would always strip on the back porch and leave my clothes and any other items outside to try to prevent any bedbugs inside. Also washing & drying items on hottest temps helps kill BB/eggs.

The covers make it so you could take everything outside and carefully take off the covers & you wouldn't have to throw away your matress just to get rid of an infestation. You can pretreat with the powder in cracks, crevices where bb hide to kill them ongoing instead of waiting to find them.

Knock on wood, we have not had a problem, but I look! Makes you think when you have strangers stay in your place. This last couple left behind a strange "burnt" smell in the living room. Not cigarettes, or pot, or a smell I recognize! But I am on alert now! :barnie

I have a brass headboard & foot board, and a good mattress cover, and pillow covers. If I see the signs of them, those are getting washed in hot water and bleach. Then spray the mattress and couch that I can not wash.

Probably meth.. surprisingly a "casual" use drug.

This was a guy in his 50's and a little younger woman, not who I would expect to use that, but who am I to know who would use Meth????:idunno At least they did not spend much time here, they were gone all day.
Oh, thats the perfect age range for meth.. younger people are happy w pot and alcohol. Unfortunately i do enough volunteering w at risk youth to know their problems are primarily parent based!

The last BnB I stayed at had in their listing that if they even suspected you of smoking they would charge $100 fine and report you to the BnB platform. I expected a fine when I brought back the charred address book that mom told me to find as I salvaged from their burnt up house.

We have "NO Smoking" as one of our few rules. I even looked in the trash for butts. We do not have ashtrays! We usually have people who like to cook, because of the kitchen. Burned smell of food or coffee is normal.
