If we get the celadon eggs, i will definitey let them hatch them. We would have to keep eggs hatching at an annual rate at a minimum to keep the celadons going. My daughter told me im going to have to process them a LOT so i can stop crying... because if it is just once in a while, ill never get used to the guts!Tiny eggs are fascinating to kids. Hatching them, even more!
Aww, she looks happy! Some pictures of the limping pullet and enjoying the compost bin
I tried to not look, but there were ducks in the Tractor store by me in Prescott. I walked past as fast as I could, but it was Saturday before Easter, the store was clogged with people looking at the chicks!I was at TSC a while ago and I believe Privetts supplies the in-store birds, at least in our area of the country. I saw production blue and turkens sexed as pullets and these are available from Privetts but not Hoover's. i.e., Hoover's sells turkens unsexed only last I checked. Guessing that each area will have different suppliers to lessen the losses due to USPS delays.
If you could only figure out a way to harness them, and put them to WORKSummer is a never ending battle with those ant's. They are everywhere, it seems!
We don't have any fire ants in our area, but there are other varieties still present. Non-biting, but still unwanted, and this is what we use inside home.Have you tried amdro? I had a very serious fire ant problem, if you even stepped outside (with shoes!!) They would be on your leg biting. I enjoyed making little trails of amdro and sitting to watch them disappear within 15 minutes... forever..
They have different formulas for different ants.
I'm pretty sure they carry some of it back to their queen, and some gets stuck to their legs, and body. Those just kill the ones that touch/eat it..
