My current flock is aged 5 months to 11 months.

Should I get 2 to raise together then integrate?

I've been outside cleaning the run and starting to get the growout pen ready so I can move these 6 chick's out of the brooder. They are starting to hop and jump around too much.

I hope not! They are ISA brown sex link and are "supposed to be" both female.

Awww My cats think that chickens are their babies. They even go out and check on our big girls LOL just to make sure everyone is okay. It's cause of doing like you, and raising the chicks around them. I started doing it with my cats when they were little and now i have cats that guard the chickens LOL
