Oh nice!! I just came back from there after visiting BlueBaby! She got to see me talking to all the animals out that away!I am in Maricopa, which is about 20 miles south of Phoenix. I never thought about snakes, but I have never seen a snake in my yard. We also have rock on the side of the house, so we will have to remove that, as well.
They are doing good. They are already on the grower feed.@BlueBaby , how are the chicks doing in your grow out pen? How long do you keep them on starter mash?
Do you use medicated or non-medicated?They are doing good. They are already on the grower feed.
Have you had them on the ground outside already in the area that they will generally be in? If not and you still have them in the house or in a grow-out pen outside? If they have already been on the ground outside then they are already building up immunities to whatever is in your soil.Do you use medicated or non-medicated?
How old are yours now?Gotcha. Yeah. I took some dirt from the run & put it in a tray inside the indoor brooder awhile ago. I've also taken them outside once & plan to do so again tomorrow morning.
They've been eating a mon-medicated chick starter mash. It's pretty fine. I was wondering when they should graduate to a more crumbly feed. Also thought I could just crumble up some of the pellet feed that the others get.
Wouldn't that do?
Not sure at what age to do that though.
Just turned 3 weeks. How old are yours now?
