When I went out to the coop this morning, I walked in on a hen that had a mouse in her beak. I guess that she wanted some meat for her breakfast.

Hello, and welcome to our AZ. thread. I read awhile back that you might be able to go to places like Starbuck's and ask them to save their used coffee ground's for you to pickup.Hi
I'm new to this site & I'm new to chickens! I live in Glendale, Az... random but does anyone reading this know where I can buy coffee ground bedding???
Yea, I know they used to do that but it'd prob take a ton of those little bags & I think the stuff they sell for chickens is special, not just straight up coffee grounds.. I know the chicken stuff has no caffeine etcHello, and welcome to our AZ. thread. Starbucks goes through many bags of coffee that the customer's order cups of coffee, and they can throw the used ones into a container of some sort. You might have to dry all of it out yourself though. I did a google search and a place called rural King sell's some:Yea, I know they used to do that but it'd prob take a ton of those little bags & I think the stuff they sell for chickens is special, not just straight up coffee grounds.. Welcome to the forum! I wasn't aware you could purchase coffee grounds that way. That'd be great for garden beds too. In the meantime, perhaps a local church will set aside their grounds for you. They can go through quite a bit on a Sunday.Hi
