I think duck boys are usually quieter than the females - so that's something.

Yes, at least the boy's are in these. Only the female's do the quack quack. The boy's make more of a weep weep weep. These boy's seem to be lead around by the beak by these girl's, and not aggressive.

True! But I already have four male chickens that I know of and now a male ducky. I love all my boys and I don’t want to have to pick and choose (which I don’t with my duck thank goodness) so no more boys pleeaaaseee

So I found out just a bit ago from people who go to the farmer’s market that is out here that no one sells eggs ! So the more girls the better at the moment so I can sell eggs and earn money towards feed for all these little monsters!

Fingers crossed I get more layers ! But doubly crossed I just have lots of healthy babies once this next batch hatches

Hello everyone!

I have three silkie bantam cockerels for sale. I’ve already created another thread but I thought this one would be a good place to post as well. Unfortunately I can’t keep them because I have too many males, so I am looking for good homes with owners who will give them lots of love!

-They are super friendly, and they love to be around people!
-They’re about (barely older than) 16 weeks, and still have some growing to do. Now would be a good time to take them, so they can get accustomed to their new homes and owners before becoming fully mature!
-They are a beautiful orange color with some black mixed in. The parents are a buff hen and and a black rooster, and the offspring are a lovely deep shade of buff/orange. Photos attached…

-I am asking $20 per cockerel, specifically to make sure they go to good homes and owners that I know will take good care of them.

I think I'll look at real chickens instead. The AI chicken pics are too realistic and clean to be real... kind of creepy.
