I got some rain here tonight.

We just got some too! Didn't last long but was pretty steady for a little while. Still see lightening flashing and hearing the rumbles. As short as it was, it was the first rain we've had since who knows when.

I know. It usually either goes around just off of one side of me, or it fizzles out before it reaches me. Heck of a lightening show out there tonight.

Same here this year. The cities overall rainfall hasn't been too bad...but here at our house? Nope. Was funny the other night watching the news showing thunderstorms going right over us and the newscaster saying it's a downpour. Nope... . Black skies, thunder and wind like crazy. But not a drop of rain on our property!

I did! Not enough ...but I have to admit I never think we get enough!

We had a light drizzle here for a few minutes. Better than nothing! Lots of lightning last night, it was beautiful.

I just hope that with all of that lightening out there last night that it didn't start more fires going.

Us too! Got us this time! Took out one of our trees. It fell on the duck run, which bent but held up. I brought all the birds inside last night just in case anyway. Didn't want to chance it.

I'm glad that your flocks are ok. We have 3 different branches on the ground here in the yard from the neighbor's trees, and our lemon tree that nobody wanted the lemons off of that we let die was blown over.

Our neighborhood just lost electricity.
