I hope that they stay that way for you. Did they settle that thing about Hickman's next to you?
They had some people from ADEQ come out and take water samples from our well. That was just to get a baseline, though. I've been keeping some eggs on rotation set aside at room temp in case I suddenly lose my flock. That way I'd at least be able to incubate them.

Good idea about that. At least you do have a rooster to be able to do that with. I'll be keeping at least 2 boy's from the BGD's. I like having more then one roo in case something happens to one, and it's better if they grow up together from the start.

Yup. I have 2 roosters also... I have Lucky (from you) and one of his offspring - Lucky, Jr.
 
I'm glad that Lucky is still with you. He was a good boy.
The pictures don't show it, but Lucky's "son" is already considerably larger than Lucky. (Jr's momma would've been an ISA Brown.)
