Hi Arizona Chicken lovers,

What a beauty of a day going on.

I get so Charged on days like this, to be outside, working on my chicken pens. Someone said, That You never get finished working on your pens. I don't know about you all, but I am always remolding, adding on, changing around again.

I found a large coffee table for free, on CL I sent a e-mail about it. I think it will make a perfect base stand for the Brood Hut I want to build. ( another add on coming) The guy lives close to me and can help load it. It is heavy. It is perfect.

I hope he calls me. I have to take advantage of the truck that is here for the winter, to collect things I can use to build my Peep Town.

Laree, Good looking boys. I think you will find a good home for them. I wish i could take them. I already have 3. Good Luck!

Hi Brenda, I haven't talked to you in some time. Is all going well now?

Mahonri, What kind of chicks do you have? I am still looking for Blue Bantam Cochin pullets.

I have never felt an earthquake and I hope I never do. Boy they scare me!

I checked with B&B this morning and Higley Feed and neither of them know what they are getting yet this Friday. Hope for the Wheaton and the Sussex! Still need to call Superstition Feed

You are sooooo lazy. NO CHOOKS FOR YOU!

LAZY!!!!! Naaaaaa... just got CRAZY A kids!

ME TOO! No excuses. At least in the car, they are strapped still. Seriously though, we should try to get together sometime in the future. Ender is in the stage where he is CRAZY for cousins. He keeps trying to bring my step-brother's baby home--even though he is still in the " under three months baby-lump" stage.

My 'little girls' are really starting to get big. So far they seem healthy, and if the weather is still nice tomorrow I'm going to take them out front for some supervised free range time. I would take them in the back yard, but I want to keep them totally separate from the 'big girls' for another week.
I'm also down to nine big girls, I got an inquiry about the Delaware pullet I had put up on craigslist, and the person wanted two, so I'm selling one of the Australorps as well. I'm far from making money on my birds, but this has let me get most of the money back that I've spent on feed. Which is good, because they are still freeloading.

I didn't realize that the eggplant coop was an Arizona person! That is the best chicken coop name ever, and a perfect color to match! I cracked up when I saw the name on a "What did you name your coop?" thread!
