Sorry about the loss Laree!! I remember Ender talking about her in the car when we went on our Casa Grande adventure. Did you tell him yet?

No egg yet from the CM… I think she will punish me and not lay for a while now since I crammed the syringe down her throat again yesterday. I didn’t play favorites though – they all got a dose. Then they got yogurt laced with more meds and then some warm scrambled eggs at bedtime to keep them warm from the inside. I was so cold again last night!! I actually had ice crystals on the sunroof this morning when I left for work!!

I have a friend who is allergic to chicken eggs, so we found a lady in QC that has ducks and geese. Went over to pick those eggs up last night and am looking forward to having HUGE one-egg omelettes on Saturday morning for breakfast!

Yeah, we are probably all geeks. Some people just dont understand my facination with chickens. Whats not to get, chickens are awesome!

Would love to have you read Pride and Prejudice with me. although mine is the Zombie version

Maybe we can start a little bookclub on here LOL

I do too! I think it'll be fine, it's just one side and I can always stick some bricks once it's lifted...but I am too lazy right now. XD;;
The wood is painted all fancy smanshy so it will live. I hope.

My dogs are having fun rolling in the side yard with the mud so I locked them outside.
I can see one of them out of the window trying to roll around but hitting the coop instead right now.
She looks so very frustrated.

I am glad your bird is doing better.

On another note: I got my mille fleur leghorn eggs last night. I popped them into the incubator with ninja-speed this morning. Since we are on lockdown, it had to be like lightning! Temp and humidity didn't change, so maybe some April Fools Leghorns!
