OK I have some bad news:

The National Weather Service has issued a HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK for WEST CENTRAL DESERTS-NORTHWEST MARICOPA COUNTY-GREATER PHOENIX AREA- SOUTHWEST DESERTS-SOUTHWEST MARICOPA COUNTY- NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY

A LARGE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION WEDNESDAY AND THANKSGIVING DAY. THE ASSOCIATED FRONT WILL USHER IN SOME OF THE COLDEST WEATHER IN DECADES...WITH LOW TEMPERATURES POSSIBLY INTO THE 20S AND 30S ON THE DESERTS BY THURSDAY NIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY. SOME OF THE COLDER SPOTS IN MARICOPA AND NORTHWEST PINAL COUNTY COULD POSSIBLY DROP TO 28 DEGREES.

ANOTHER COLD SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE AREA SUNDAY AND MONDAY...WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS EAST OF PHOENIX...AND ANOTHER PERIOD OF BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.

I just went to wunderground - my favorite place for weather forecasting - it says lows will be 38 degrees, but then when I click on the hourly forecast, they dip all the way down to 11 degrees!!! I'm in Glendale, AZ (Phx). Can this be right? It does say "Temperature / Dew Point (°F):" is 11 degrees the actual temp or is that what it will feel like with the dewpoint?

Not enough time to wrap lights around everything, and not enough shhets to cover tender plants, sooooo.... hope everything makes it through tonight, then hit Goodwill tomorrow and see if they have sheets cheap enough to buy a bunch.

Tonight should be OK in the Phoenix area. It's Wednesday night and Thursday night that are scary.

I think actual lows are much lower. It hit 33 at my house this morning.

Got 3 Marans eggs today.

DS in Logan,Utah says it's 9 degrees there, 6 inches of snow on the ground and expecting another 10 before tomorrow is over.
They cancelled university classes. So what are he and his roommates doing this evening?

Depending on which way the wind/weather is coming from, but Wittmann is usually halfway weatherwise between Surprise and Wickenburg, so the thermostat this a.m. read 34 degrees just before dawn, but still had ice in the hose, but no frozen pipes, thankfully. Lost 3 baby chicks, I think they got crushed by the bigger chicks or ducks. Those ducks get big FAST!
