I'm having an accomplished moment. Monday I shipped 30 eggs to Alaska and I just got an email from her...not one cracked egg!

NoSkiveez - That is so cool. You are right to be proud of yourself. I don't have any of my own kids, but I have been frightened with a great deal of what I have seen come out of the public schools.
I wish I could be more helpful in answering questions but am too new to this myself.
I am so sorry for the losses everyone has had during the cold spell. I was feeling really lucky that I hadn't lost any and a coyote got me this morning. Little b@#$$#@# took 3 hens and 1 roo. 5 ducks are missing but I haven't found any signs of them. I am not holding out a lot of hope, but am giving it a couple days to see if the drake took the girls into hiding. I found and fixed the part of the fence that they were getting out of (my fault that I did not fix it sooner,I feel like an a@#$).
I know I am missing something I wanted to say to some one, but am getting tired.

AZBootsie - Thanks for your input. I would LOVE for it to be Infectious Bronchitis vs coryza or BS.
Everyone who offered input - You have made me hopeful that it might not be as bad as I was thinking. I came back from the feed store with Duramycin-10 (water soluble antibiotic) and Vetericyn (spray wound & infection treatment). The Vetericyn is a 100% natural formula based on FDA-cleared Microcyn Technology that is used (among a lot of other thing) to treat eye infections and Respiratory tract associated infections. I don't know if it will help, but I didn't see where it could hurt. I gave Granola 10 cc of antibiotic water, de-gooked her nostrils, cleaned her eyes, and gave her a couple of squirts of the Vetericyn in the face (which she did NOT appreciate). She did muster up enough energy to hop back up on to the perch in the kennel (1 foot off the floor) all by her self. The Nameless One got an eye & nostril cleaning and the face sprays, but would have nothing to do with taking water from a syringe. Since she is still eating, and I presume drinking, I'm not real worried about it. I filled their waterer with antibiotic water and put them to bed. I'm hoping for a miraculous recovery.

I would be devastated. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope the ducks turn up. They could be hiding.

Have you tried plastic owls? I've heard they work to keep hawks away. I thinking about getting one.
Plastic owls are an interesting thought. An owl might give them a momentary pause, but I don't think that would last long. I have seen these hawks up close and personal (when they killed my 1st flock last month) and know they are HUGE. They are taller than my biggest standard sized chickens (by several inches) and have a 5-6 foot wingspan. I think they would get together (since they hunt as a pack) and take on the owl. They would be very disappointed to find out it wasn't eatable.
Maybe they'd choke on its "bones."
