Lol Laree!

We used to own a small business and ut was a pain keeping records, but made it easy for our tax guy to take care of everything. Even tho I didn't know our tax aspect, I knew enough to keep good records...but had I known you did consulting I would have asked you!

2 more giants! And a Silkie chick I'm very excited about (I'm glad too because it was the only Silkie egg i had and it was what I WANTED.

I learned some valuable lessons tonight.

1. Do not take dead quail eggs that you've been incubating for 17 days outside to crack them and see what's going on inside.

2. If you absolutely insist on taking dead quail eggs that you've been incubating for 17 days outside to crack them and see what's going on inside and the membrane doesn't break with the shell, do NOT peel the membrane apart with your fingers with the intended tear facing you. Because as you should have had the foresight to expect, the innards will squirt all over your shirt, face and arms and you will have to take an astonishingly hot shower before you feel clean and unstinky again.

3. Do not take dead quail eggs that you've been incubating for 17 days outside to crack them and see what's going on inside.
