I'm anxious to get home... One, it's Friday. Two, the remaining 2 quail eggs are in the bator and I'm not going to give them any more time, lest they explode. They were due on Tuesday and I think it's been long enough now.

Sadness hit our home today. Our special pet, a 15 yr old rescue dog, a mix died. Was great when the babies came who are 4 and 8 now. she would come get us when something was wrong, we called her the baby sitter. She had heart and that is why she lived so long. Cancer hit her 5 yrs ago and the vet who put her down for us said she held on because of the love she had for the family. I write to you today with a heavy heart abut with thanks giving too for the vet was your recommendation. Dr Burk at cornerstone animal hospital....what a man...what a Dr. they don't come better. He did not know us and handled us as if he knew our pet well. Just had to let you know.

Had to share... I came across an old topic today and literally laughed out loud sitting in my house all alone. Any of you that have ever met Mahonri may laugh as well. Don't worry Dar... it's a good thing!! It means you're consistent

Your verbiage made me laugh and then that you got called out was the icing on the cake.

So sorry DM. So very sorry. Happy that you were blessed with his wonderful heart for the years you had him. I like to hope that he's interviewing replacements for you, knowing your heart is heavy and you need looking after. I never actually look for our pets, they find me.
