To me it looks like the flower / fruit ... but I don't have experience with them either.

pastrymama have you tried the duck eggs yet, and how were they? re: the new chicks, they are like chips, there's always room for one(or 7) more, so if you can't get rid of them I'll take them.

Laree You know, there are certified genius' among us, and then there are the certifiable.

I think you should definitely hatch the emu, and then if you don't have room for it board it at my place.

Bob, duck eggs are ALL GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saved 2 to make my aunt's cake for tomorrow, but other than that, I'm OUT! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!! Anytime you wanna dump some duck eggs, just roll down the window and I'll put on the boy's mitt to catch them! Now I don't have any to make the boy's cake for next week. I couldn't help myself.

dh orders car parts and books, and I know when he asks me to wathc for delivery. Putting eggs into the incubator, or purchasing chickens is my deal. Forst time I had some shipped in, he went to the airport PO with me--was nearly as excited as me. That was a long tme ago...

Its not that he cares...I am supposed to be cleaning and packing and helping make a spot for the new manufactured home we are getting...we are moving 300 ft into our yard, the hardest move I have ever made..so working on the new house is what we are concentrating on...really the incubators are just running in the back round and he has no idea what is in it.

PRetty! My one hen started laying...perhaps again? I can't tell. One turkey hen is broody, one is in love with the Jeep and Silverado.

If she would lay the eggs in the Jeep, I would KNOW she is the one laying.

Quite yummy fruit, actually. My boys love picking and eating the mulberry fruit. It's the only tree they can pick from to their hearts content without getting yelled at.

And, they haven't figured out yet how badly mulberry stains...so no mulberry fights! Half rotten oranges, on the other hand...
